Unlocking the Wii

Wii Downloads are awesome but until recently, you had to buy and install a MOD chip to play downloaded and burned games on the Wii. Now you can use the Homebrew Application and a third party program to unlock your Wii without a chip and play downloaded Wii games. There are a few sites and programs out there to choose from. We have listed them on the right under the category “Unlock The Wii”. With the Homebrew Program and one of these, you can go to one of the Wii Download sites and start playing downloaded games. You can also burn copies of your games and play the backups now with these programs.
